FAQ

Do you photograph exteriors?

Absolutely. Exteriors are part of most projects I shoot — the facade, outbuildings, landscape, and twilight exteriors when the house calls for it. I photograph them on the ground rather than from the air; commercial drone work requires an FAA Part 107 license, which I don't currently hold. If a project needs aerials, I can point you to someone who does and match my exteriors to their coverage.

Do you photograph projects outside of CT?

Yes. I'm based in Brookfield, CT and work regularly throughout Fairfield County and Westchester, and I've shot projects in Rhode Island, Florida and beyond. There's no travel charge within 30 miles; beyond that I bill travel time and mileage, and for distant projects I'll usually recommend a full day so we can cover the whole house in one trip.

How much do you charge?

Projects typically start at $1,950 for a half day. Email me for my current rate sheet and I'll put together a quote for your project.

Can I split the cost of a photoshoot with another party?

Absolutely, and I'd encourage it. If a builder, architect, or a cabinet, tile, or lighting vendor on the project would also want images, they can be added as a party: 25% is added to the package for each one, then the total is split and billed to each client separately. Everyone gets full access to the images and each party pays significantly less overall. Cost-sharing has to be arranged before the shoot, with a signed agreement and deposit from each party.

What can I use the photos for?

Every shoot includes a full digital and print marketing license for your own use — website, social, portfolio, print materials, and press submissions. Photo credit to Joe Buzzeo is required on social and editorial use. Third parties who weren't part of the shoot need to purchase a license, which is $150 per image including the high-resolution file.

How long will it take to receive my photos?

Typically two to three weeks after the shoot. I edit everything myself rather than outsourcing, which takes a little longer but keeps the look consistent. If you have a publication or listing deadline, tell me up front and I'll work to it.

How do I book a date?

A signed agreement and a 50% deposit secure your date; the balance is invoiced on the shoot day. I book several weeks out during busy season, so the earlier you reach out the more flexibility we have on timing and light.
