I photograph interiors for the designers who create them.

I got here sideways. I went to Full Sail University to become a film director and came out with a degree in digital cinematography — years of learning how light builds a frame before I ever photographed a room.

For the last several years I've been the staff photographer for a kitchen and bath design studio in Westport. That job has put me in hundreds of finished rooms, standing next to the designer who made them, which turns out to be an unusual way to learn this work. It taught me what a designer actually needs a photograph to do — not just record the space, but keep the intention in it. The reason the slab was worth building a room around. The reason the sconce hangs three inches lower than you'd expect.

My work has been published in New England Home, Design + Decor, and Connecticut Builder.

I shoot interiors almost exclusively, I work with the light a house gives me, and I edit every image myself. I'm based in Brookfield, Connecticut, and most of my work is in Fairfield County and Westchester.
